another day, another challenge

It’s been a while, but I have a feeling I’ll be spending more time here over the next few months. That’s because I have just passed my mid-candidature review, the ‘milestone’ decreed by my graduate school that marks me as somehow ready to complete my thesis.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy. This is a good thing. It means there’s a strong possibility I might actually get to finish the thesis. The time has come to settle down to some serious writing, editing and polishing – and it starts tomorrow. Seriously.

So I thought I would let you know, because writing is writing, whether it’s on the subject of my theory of the performing voice, or on the subject of how I am getting on writing about my theory of the performing voice. I’ll be right here, attached to my beautiful macbook.

When I’m not sleeping, that is.

Good night.
